I’m 45 years old and I live in San Diego, CA. I have always had a love for running but after an injury a Dr. told me I wouldn’t run again. I have been working with Coach Gina since mid November of 2018. I came to her as an interval half marathon runner. In a few short months of training with Rwg, I went from running only timed intervals to running straight miles without stopping. In June of 2019, I ran the Rock 'n' Roll half marathon and I earned a PR; I shaved off 24 minutes from my 2018 Rock 'n' Roll half marathon. And I finished the 2019 Rock 'n' Roll PAIN FREE. Finishing a race pain free now is the greatest feeling ever. I have completed 22 half marathons and only a handful have been pain free. I was referred to Rwg by various of my running friends. I wasn't looking to improve my running as I had been running for 30 years. My desire was to run with a large group of fun runners.
